Clare Francis
After studying modern languages at university and a year teaching in France, Clare has spent her career in HR management and development. Seven years of employment in the private sector gave her the skills to branch out into the unknown and she set up BAB Limited in 1986 with Tony Robinson, a business partnership that survives to this day.
They have co-authored a number of books and learning media on enterprise skills of which the best known is 'The Essential Guide to Earning a Living from Independent Consultancy'. Clare has been involved in SFEDI since day one and is SFEDI Company Secretary and Secretary of the SFEDI Advisory Board which includes all the major UK small and home business membership organisations, enterprise support organisations and professional bodies. Clare is also co-director of a highly successful family owned commercial property company. When not working, she prefers to sing, ski, cycle or spend time with her cats! PO Box 5753, Milton Keynes.
