The first step in evaluating a product or service for endorsement by SFEDI is to check that it matches our criteria.
Value to the end user
- how it
helps the end user
whether it is attractive
whether it is easy to use;
Quality
- whether it has been developed by people with the appropriate competence;
Specific to target audience
- whether it has been developed particularly for a SFEDI target audience such as small firms or people supporting small business;
Up-to-date
- how it is reviewed to make sure the information it contains is always correct.
Affordable
- whether it is priced at an appropriate amount for the end user and in comparison to other similar products, programmes, qualifications websites, networks, magazines or journals;
Links to the SFEDI Standards
- whether it draws on the good practice defined in the SFEDI Standards
