Effective support for Enterprise in Wales
SFEDI standards define what you need to know, understand and be able to do to support start-up and small businesses. A limited review of the standards is being conducted to ensure they are fit for purpose.
A limited review of the standards is being conducted to ensure they are fit for purpose in terms of · equality, diversity and inclusion · supporting continuing professional development · being coherent and capable of covering different support roles A series of eight events are being held across the UK to provide practitioners with an opportunity to contribute to the review of the standards. These events will be relevant to business advisors, enterprise coaches, business mentors, skills brokers and other specialist advisers working with small businesses, social enterprises and the self-employed. If you are working in any of these roles, or are managing people who do, we would be delighted if you could attend one of the consultation events. All participants will receive pre-event materials and a summary of conclusions from this and the other events.
