New Managing Director Appointed at SFEDI Enterprises
SFEDI Enterprises, the commercial sister company of the UK government-recognised Standards Setting Body for Business Enterprise and Business Support, are pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Ellis as Managing Director, with effect from 1st July 2009. The appointment follows previous MD Nat Hardwick's move to Executive Director (Brand) for SFEDI Group.
Most recently, Mark has been Business Manager/Senior Consultant with QED Consulting providing organisational development consultancy to small and large organisations in both the public and private sector. Within this role he also developed and grew QED's SFEDI Centre of Excellence - Quantum Assessment Services.
Mark specialises in strategy development and implementation and has provided strategic planning consultancy to a wide range of organisations such as: Corus, Bridon International and SNF (UK). He has extensive experience as an executive coach having working closely with a variety of executives from small start ups through to Senior Directors from multinational PLCs. He has also developed and delivered a government funded Succession Planning Service, advising business owners on the sale/ownership transfer of their business.
Mark also has experience of working overseas and being immersed in culturally different types of work, this includes his delivery of the India programme strategic review of the Nobel Prize winning Aid organisation - 'Handicap International'.
In addition to his experience Mark also holds an MBA from the prestigious Edinburgh Business School.
