Get your programmes recognised by SFEDI
Recognised Programmes will let training and CPD providers map their programmes to the SFEDI Business Support Standards and have them recognised by SFEDI. Learners who complete a Recognised Programme will receive SFEDI Specialist Certification. It is coming soon. Here is what to expect.
A clear route from your programme to recognised practice
Every Recognised Programme is mapped to a Specialist Standard and leads to Specialist Certification in that Standard. There is no lesser certificate of completion. Learners who complete your programme will be certificated by SFEDI, and your programme and organisation will be named on each learner's credential.
For your programme: the Recognised Programme badge, shown on a programme SFEDI has recognised.
For your learners: the Specialist Certification badge for the Standard your programme is mapped to.
How it will work
Map your programme
Map your programme's content and activities to the requirements of a Specialist Standard, using the requirement codes (for example S1.3). Codes are permanent and never reused, so your mapping will always point to the same requirement.
Apply for recognition
Send your mapping to SFEDI. We'll review your programme against the Standard and confirm it is recognised. You'll then be able to show the Recognised Programme badge on your programme.
Deliver your programme
You deliver the programme in the way that suits your learners and your organisation.
Your learners are certificated
SFEDI certificates learners who complete your programme, and each receives a Specialist Certification credential that names the Standard, your programme and your organisation.
Why get your programme recognised
A published benchmark
Show that your programme is mapped to the SFEDI Business Support Standards, requirement by requirement, and carry the Recognised Programme badge to show that SFEDI has recognised it.
Credentials your learners can use
Your learners leave with Specialist Certification from SFEDI, which they can share with clients, employers and commissioners.
Your name on every credential
Each credential names your programme and your organisation, so your work is credited wherever it is shared.
Who it's for
Recognised Programmes are for organisations that develop business support professionals, including:
- Training and CPD providers
- Universities and colleges
- Business support organisations that train their own advisers, mentors and coaches
- Professional and sector bodies
Want to deliver the qualifications?
Recognised Programmes are separate from the qualifications. If you want to deliver the SFEDI Awards Level 5 or Level 7, you'll need to become an approved centre with SFEDI Awards.
