S18 Developing Enterprising Skills
This is about helping people develop the attributes, behaviours and skills that make them enterprising: spotting opportunities, generating and testing ideas, thinking creatively, making the most of the resources they already have, and taking measured risks. These skills matter in employment and study as well as in starting a business, so this Standard applies whatever path the individual chooses.
Who it's for
Business support professionals, enterprise coaches, and employability and youth workers who help people develop enterprising skills, whether or not they go on to start a business.
